Nah, we didn't really talk about it. You seemed like you wanted me to butt out, so I was gonna respect that unless she brought it up, and she didn't.

You have a warped sense of pain after you're dead. What might be excruciating to the living kinda tickles when you're six feet under.

Huh. I got a warped sense of Barge deaths from being here. Sounds like we match. Or-- matched.

I mean, I feel a LITTLE bad we never clicked before, but to be honest, I was kind of a rotten, evil little bedbug before.

I never hated you or anything, or thought you were evil. I liked you okay. Mostly I just thought you didn't ever take anything seriously.

I always took certain things seriously.

Just not things most breathers did.

What kinds of things did you take seriously?

Yeah. Saying 'I love you', having someone to come home to, that kinda thing.

You know-- that's something a lot of breathers take seriously, actually.

That's hopeful. They get all bent outta shape when I tell them they're not special because they died.

How do you feel when people tell you to suck it up after something bad happens to you?

Actually, I like him better than I used to, too. We had a good talk about Barge shit and the problems he's been having.

He doing okay? I'm kind of the one who got him demoted so I feel a little guilty about that.

I was a little bit worried about him, but you know him better than I do. I like that he cares about trying to make the Barge better.

Yeah. Just wish he wouldn't hate on the Big Guy so much. Everyone's got problems.
