All right-- because of an incident a while ago involving the pool, a loose rabbit, and some beer, my warden's just a little bit disappointed and exasperated with me, I think. We'd been talking about how he wants me to keep busy by getting a job and finding a subject to study, but he's given me a deadline now, so I'm-- I'm taking suggestions. He says I can't work in the chapel, but I was wondering... I mean...

[She trails off, frowning.]

… Hey, is it just me, or does it seem like there's a lot more people talking over this thing today?

Still sounds like a lot to me.

It seems a whole lot smaller when your kingdom is expanding up to at least two billion people.

There's just one kingdom in the whole place?

Not of course; there's like hundreds on mine.

Hundreds? They must be very small kingdoms.

They're called countries, and most of 'em are pretty fucking huge.

Oh! You have many countries on one planet? It must be a very big planet.

I think it's like normal-sized.

I don't know. I look like a scientist to you?

Of course not. You wouldn't know any more than I would.

Yeah. But we got a whole solar system and I think we're one of the middle-sized planets.

I suppose that must mean something, mustn't it?

[tucky]

Yeah. It means some are bigger and some are smaller.

[tatra]

Well, you could say that about anything!

You can say it about this more than other things.

Of course, of course. [ She flaps a hand again, then takes a long drink of her tea. ]

Might you study astronomy, then?

[tucky]

[She laughs.]

No, no, no. I don't study anything.

[tatra]

Aren't you supposed to find something though?

[tucky]

You said you were supposed to find something to study, and work to keep you occupied.

Oh. Yeah.

It's not gonna be astronomy though, I don't think.
