Because I was being selfish, but I also didn't wanna treat you like you couldn't make decisions for yourself, even though I know how hard it is to do the right thing for yourself sometimes, and...

[She trails off, pressing the back of her other hand against her mouth.]

[As much as she hates the idea of being without Tiffany, it's even worse to think of a world where she hadn't been able to love her. She shakes her head, adamant.]

[She does touch Trixie this time, squeezing her shoulder reassuringly.]

[She runs her hand over her face, laughing quietly.]

[She nods softly, looking down at Tiffany's hand as she runs her thumb over her knuckles.]

I'm guessing I'll have a few days before I head off with Dorian.

[Tiffany is quiet for a moment, staring down at their hands, chewing on the inside of her cheek again. She swallows, then says:]

You, um. You know where you're gonna go yet?

No, I'm letting Dorian decide. [She smiles.] Could be the worst mistake of my life, but I guess that's where we're fucking at.

He's a dick, but he loves you. He won't pick anywhere that you hate.
