Yeah, well, it's a pretty reasonable view of most prisons, even the kind where all you hafta worry about is the normal flavors of abuse and violence. Figure this place just ups the ante some.

There's a lotta room in 'some'. Can't say as I've ever been in prison and not wanted to get my hands 'round someone's throat and squeeze 'til their eyes popped, but this place sure takes it to a whole new level. [And that's bearing in mind the fact he's never been in a domestic prison. Where they theoretically have to respect your rights and the violence is at least somewhat controlled and clandestine. He'd rather be back in North Korea than this, at least he'd known there was an end there, one way or another, and... physical torture is familiar and expected. Being fucked with the way the Barge does? That is wrecking him in ways nothing else ever has.]

[There isn't much on the Barge that's not larger than life, in Tiffany's experience - the lows are worse, and the highs are better. It's jarring, and a little confusing.]

Wasn't about helping. [Though he doesn't bother to say what, if anything, it was about.] And I didn't kill anyone, if that's what you're getting at. Which doesn't mean I'm not just as responsible for those that were injured or killed as anyone involved. [He sees no point in trying to limit his responsibility. You take part in a group action then you're responsible for all the results, foreseen or not, of that action. It's just a fact, and he doesn't sound particularly bothered by it.]
