He says he's looking for a warden who's good at having people's backs, and who knows about his job - stealing stuff. I said I knew someone who fit some of those things, maybe even all of 'em.

What? No. I'm saying he's looking for... somebody to be on his side, I guess, and what he described sounded a lot like you.

I said I didn't know if you'd be interested, but I told him I'd ask.

[Well that puts her back for a moment, and when she continues she's a little more intent. She may not judge people specifically for deciding to steal things, but it does mean certain things are usually true, such as:]

Well, I was talking about having someone in his corner if he needs it - but I'm not gonna lie, he might be hoping for a warden to help him cause trouble and steal from people here; I don't know.

Yeah, I told him I would. He wanted me to give him your name, but I said I'd give you his instead, and you could decide if you wanted to talk to him.
