Hey, y'all. I been thinking about some stuff lately - about powers. I don't have any and I never did, except for Admiral powers and except for one time when I thought I had some of my own - but that's another story.

They're just kinda all over the place here, I noticed. Arthas had his, and he tried to kill the whole Barge. And I know wardens hurt people with their powers sometimes. I've seen it. And we got inmates who don't have any powers at all, but still hurt and kill people. It's like I was telling someone earlier - it ain't like the Barge is safe when inmates have powers, and dangerous when they don't. It's a lot more complicated than that.

I got two inmates I been talking to, Lourdes and Pietro - and they want their powers back 'cause they don't feel right and whole without 'em. And I don't blame 'em, if I'm gonna be real honest. I maybe would have, before I was a warden, but now I got a different perspective. We're letting parts of people be locked away, and how's anyone supposed to trust us if we do that and don't care?

But maybe it ain't right to just give 'em back without thinking about it, neither - 'cause some of the powers are dangerous, and all of us'd be affected if something happened. So we decided that since they don't got wardens of their own, we're gonna talk to the whole Barge about it and see if any of y'all got objections. Or-- or questions or concerns. Stuff like that.

Pietro's got super speed, and super senses so he can see things okay when he's using his super speed. Lourdes can control people's bodies, and their minds, and even the chemicals inside 'em. Now, that's a whole fucking lot - so she's mostly what I wanna talk about today, I guess. We got Iris and Jean and all those guys who can protect people from stuff like that, but it can still be dangerous. So we're asking you.

I'm giving Lourdes her powers back - but only when she's in the Enclosure with me. Now, I don't think she's gonna hurt me - but if she does, I don't want any of y'all hurting her back, okay? I ain't saying no punishment, or no being mad. Just no torturing or murdering or nothing. Thanks.

You brought it all to the surface, however, the choice in the end wont be yours alone. Nor, do I suspect you will have any say in what the other wardens decide, but everyone else will blame you. It's a sad fact of life. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

I'm pretty sure none of it's gonna happen, anyway. I thought Pietro might get his, but now I don't think so.

That's a shame really. I don't know him or anything but just what I have heard he sounds like one who doesn't know how to get by without his power. I think you did good in trying to help him. It is those who want us all without any power I am not pleased with.

I shouldn't, but I do. If you cant protect yourself, find people who can. When it comes to survival, taking from some to make others happy is illmannered if you ask me. Some of us had to work very hard to be as powerful as we are.

And see, I agree with you too. It's fucking-- it's fucking confusing, is what it is.

Figure out what you beleive and stick to that. Let no one change your mind with their sob stories. This place is dangerous, but it would be more so if you poke the beehive to much. See, I know it was mentioned but let me reiterate for you. We don't need power to be deadly. Hell, even without my power I could kill you at least two ways before you realized it I had moved. Mindless slaughter without a point or prize means little to me, so, I wont. Still, food for thought, i suppose.

I don't wanna do that, though. I'm supposed to make my own decisions about things, but I'm supposed to keep learning stuff, too. I don't wanna decide something and never change my mind about it.

For most things, anyway.

I only mean on this one issue, Tiffany. Go back re-listen and read what everyone said and make up your mind. That is all. it is good to keep learning, but sometimes you need to stick to your choices. If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything.

What if I don't feel like I got the right to make up my mind about something this big?

That is a strange way to feel, your feelings are your own. However, if you walk the fence on this one and something bad happens can you truly stand up for yourself when your not sure where you stand?

Probably not. Nope.

Make a pros and cons list. [ He spoke as he let out a breath of smoke, ashing over to the side.] Weigh the options and make a choice. Only you can decide how you feel.

Anthony is better at these kind of talks but he is likely busy at the moment.

He don't like me much anymore, anyway.

Nah, I don't think I'm gonna make a choice. I think I'm just gonna do what I been doing.

... I kinda found a solution for one of the people I was talking about, anyway. I got the Admiral to let her have her powers back in the Enclosure.

None of this is really. [ He moved to start pushing himself up.] I just figured you needed someone to talk to. I'm bad at this kind of thing anyway.

[ he stood there a moment before tossing the cigarette over the edge from where he stood.]
